SMOOTHIE RECIPE: APPLE PIE

There's a huge chance you are craving another slice of that apple pie from Thursdays Thanksgiving meal, we say that cause, well - we are! Instead of heading to the kitchen for a slice, try this weeks smoothie recipe. It won't just satisfy your craving, but it will also, fuel your body like you need it to, enabling you to get through another day of sale shopping! 

Apples: a good source of fiber, including both soluble and insoluble pectins, and it's also a good source of vitamin C. Apple nutrients are disproportionately present in the skin, which is a particularly valuable part of the fruit with respect to its nutrient content.

Banana: A superfruit loaded with potassium and resistant starch carbohydrates to help with a feeling of fullness.

Avocado: Contain more potassium than bananas, are packed full of fiber, and can help you absorb nutrients from other plant based foods you consume. 

Cinnamon: High source of antioxidants and can have positive effects on blood sugar levels, digestion, and immunity. It can also be used to help ease inflammation. 

Dates: A great source of sugar and fiber, but also include essential minerals such as calcium, iron, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, magnesium and zinc can be found in them. They also contain vitamins such as thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, folate, vitamin A and vitamin K.
