We're back in the studio this week for our Wednesday workout, and today we're focusing on practicing backbends. 

A lot of our daily movements involve moving forward, hunching over our desks, driving, picking things up. Practicing backbends helps balance out the body after doing all those more forward moving motions. They help relieve tension in the muscles around the spine, but they also help build strength in those muscles, to help them protect the spine from injury.
