Yep, it’s that time of the year when we’ll do/eat/drink anything that will keep us warm! We know there is a gazillion options when it comes to hot drinks, caffeinated, non caffeinated, sweet, sour, alcoholic,  nonalcoholic. The options are massive! Today, we’re going to share our fav three, that can easily become alcoholic – we won’t judge!

1.     Sage & Thyme Tea

Not only is sage and thyme good for brain function, it actually tastes delicious! No, seriously it does! Mix Sage and thyme together and brew with hot water, or if you want to make it super quick, get a hold of some ready-made tea bags and add hot water. This is also good if you want to add a drop of brandy or whiskey.. for those interested!

2.     Vanilla Chai Tea Latte

For us, there is nothing closer to Christmas in a mug than this drink! You’ll need to combine water, peppercorns, cloves, cardamom, ginger, nutmeg and a cinnamon stick in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, and boil for 5 minutes. Turn heat off and place 2 black tea bags into the water to brew for 5-6 minutes. Stir in vanilla extract (and brown sugar if required) Heat the milk and combine, serve immediately. You’ll thank us!!!

3.     Apple Cider With Cinnamon

Apple Cider is full of Vitamin C – which is essential for tissue repair and regeneration, and supports the healthy functioning of the immune system and adrenal glands, both of which can be impaired by stress (including the physical stress of cold weather)!! So, warm it up and add 2 cinnamon sticks to it and there you have a warm winter delight!
