You’ve played your match, participated in your training session or got your workout in, but taking some time afterwards to stretch often gets forgotten, especially when your doubles partner is buying the drinks!!
So, when you have limited time to stretch out after your court time or workout, this stretch is the one to do! It targets the hamstrings, groin, hips and sometimes even your calves (depending on the day). If there’s only one stretch you can do after a workout, make it this.
Folding over one leg at a time, depends the stretch, and also stretches the side of your torso which is worked a lot especially in tennis. Make sure you are keeping both hip bones down on the mat though, try not to twerk your body into the pose, instead start where you are and with time you’ll get more flexible.
