WHEN YOU NEED MOTIVATION, BUT IT'S NOT MONDAY
Monday morning comes around and there are motivational quotes every where to be seen on social media, online magazines etc. It's great - we love it - hence all our previous motivational Monday posts. However what can you do on say a Tuesday, to stay motivated?
Well, here's three ways to stay motivated when it's not a Monday.
SAY SOMETHING POSITIVE
As soon as you wake up, say something positive to yourself. It can be about the day you're going to have or yourself or something else in your life. This act will remind you immediately turn your attention to a more positive outlook and in turn give you more chance of having a better, productive day.
EAT A NUTRITIOUS BREAKFAST
Fueling your body with good foods also fuels your brain and encourages the chemicals in your brain that make you feel motivated and happy work. Making you feel happier and motivated. Some examples of foods that can help you feel motivated are: Spinach (add to an omelette or a smoothie), Whole grains (Oats for breakfast), Blueberries (great to add to any breakfast), Sunflower & Flax seeds (put them on your cereal as an option) and Greek Yoghurt (Easy to add to any breakfast choice).
MOVE YOUR BODY
Moving your body at any point of the day will shift your focus and perspective. So, if you are feeling unmotivated, try going for a walk in your neighbourhood, or popping into your local gym/studio to interact with people in a different way and move your body. With the endorphins flowing through your body it will be difficult not to feel a burst of motivation towards your day.
It can feel really hard at times to motivate yourself during the days. Life can often just get on top of some of us. Let your burdens melt away with a little control over your thoughts, moving your body often and fueling your body correctly. Saving the Monday motivational quotes you like too could also be helpful!
