Ah, the Acai bowl - the trendiest health fad around 2010, and now still the ever popular go to healthy meal/ snack. Well, we won't deny it - we still have a weakness when we see Acai bowl on the menu. So, we thought today we'd share our homemade acai bowl (without the acai) recipe. 

Here's what you'll need: 

1/2 cup of frozen blueberries
Half frozen banana or half an avocado
3 frozen strawberries
3/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk
1tsp of chia seeds
 1/4 cup of granola
 *Optional: 1 scoop of protein powder (we use herbalife F1)
Extra blueberries, strawberries banana for toppings

How to make: 

Mix the frozen banana or Avocado, strawberries, blueberries and the almond milk in the food processor ( if you want to add the protein powder you can add it now). Once it's all mixed pour into a bowl and then add the extra blueberries, strawberries and banana on top to decorate. Add the granola and sprinkle the chia seeds on top.

Take a big spoon and enjoy your quick and instagram ready meal!
